Clinic Policies

We are thrilled to welcome you to our clinic and provide you with all your endocrine care needs. As a new patient, we want to inform you of our clinic policies to ensure a smooth and successful partnership between us.

  • Appointment Cancellations: If you need to cancel your appointment, please do so as soon as possible. This will allow us to offer the appointment to other patients in need.

  • Late Cancellations/No Shows: We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, but please be aware that for cancellations less than 24 hours prior to the appointment or no shows, we will charge a $50 rescheduling fee.

  • Refills: We strive to ensure that you have enough medication until your next visit. If you find that you are running low on your medication, it is best to use our portal to request a refill or reach out to your pharmacy team. Please plan accordingly as refills can take 48-72 hours.

  • Communications to Office: We encourage you to use our portal for all communications, including scheduling and prescription refills. In case of emergencies, please call our office line and leave a message including your full name, date of birth, and call back number. Our phone line is HIPAA compliant, and we will return your call as soon as possible. Please refrain from using our admin email for clinical concerns or questions as it is not HIPAA compliant and may take longer to receive a response.

  • After-Hours and Weekend Calls: Please note that we are only able to address medical emergencies during after-hours and weekends. For scheduling and refill requests, please use our portal or call during office hours.

  • Portal/Phone Messages Requesting Medical Advice: Please be aware that per the guidelines of billing, we do bill for medical questions sent to us through the portal or phone calls. The cost of this may be fully covered by your insurance or apply to your copay/deductible.

  • Card on File Policy: At the time of your visit, please be prepared to pay your copay, deductible, or any direct payments to our office. We require that you provide your credit card information, which will be stored on Elavon platform, a secure credit card processing/merchant services company. Our staff will not have access to this information, and you will be automatically charged for any outstanding balances once your insurance has processed your claim. You will also get an email 5 days prior to your card being charged reminding you of this happening so you can reach out to us to update the information as needed.

Thank you for taking the time to review our clinic policies. We look forward to providing you with exceptional care and building a successful partnership together. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
